Thomas G Callahan's Obituary
Thomas Callahan, 72, of Strongsville passed away on Friday, August 26th, 2022.
Thomas was born on May 29th, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Charles and Mary (nee Rice) Callahan.
He was an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. Thomas loved to watch football and spending time with his wonderful family. He worked at Ford Motor Company for 35 years in the foundry. Following working at Ford, Thomas attended Red Cross School of nursing to become a nurse's aid. He was a dear friend to Bill W. for 44 years.
He is survived by his wonderful wife of 43 years, Jane Callahan; children Randy Wendel, Matt Wendel, Kathy Stachewicz, Jenny Keller, and Tim Callahan; and many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Thomas is preceded in death by his siblings Michael Callahan, Daniel Callahan, Patricia and Tim Callahan; daughter Starr Moore; and granddaughter Isabella Hlynosky.
VISITATION will be held on WEDNESDAY, August 31st, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. FUNERAL SERVICES will be the same day beginning at 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Red Cross or The Wounded Warriors Project.
