It was my sincere pleasure to know Theresa from when we were kids to when we were adults teaching in the same building. I will always fondly remember watching her play basketball for my father at St. Joseph and Johns. She then went on to become an excellent coach at Midpark High School and turned their program into an immediate winner. I am grateful to know her and for her friendship; she will be missed by all who knew her and the community she proudly served. God Bless

When I think of Theresa, I remember all the fun times the girls had playing basketball. She was definitely the best coach Stacey ever had! Not only was she experienced at the game, but she was fun and enthusiastic. Stacey loved being a part of the team and Theresa made it even better. I often think of the video she and her dad made for all the girls of their basketball season for their send off to high school. "We are family" was one of the songs, which said it all. They were one big family, the basketball team and the entire Potonic family. Thank you Theresa for being a mentor, teacher, coach, and good friend to all of us. We love you and will always have fond memories of you. God bless you.

Ms. McNamara was a wonderful teacher who truly cared for her students. I graduated in 2012 and had her my senior year for math. I always hated math but she made it fun and simple to learn. I ended up with an A in her class due to her willingness to help. She will be truly missed.

Chris and girls,

Thank you for sharing your wife and mother with all of us at Midpark High School. I will remember fondly walking through part of her courageous and long journey with her as she came to the school clinic with questions, concerns and for some of her care. However what I will remember and treasure most is the stories of bedtime conversations with her girls, her bragging on their school achievements, concerts and conferences and her wonderful sense of humor and great determination. I am so sorry for your loss and will be praying for all of you as you deal with this big void in your lives.
