I’ll never forget the time we spent together this past year and the stories she told me. It was one of the greatest gifts to learn more about her and her life. I’ll never forget us laughing over a story about a Ford company dinner she went to with pap, where all of the wives were too scared of the big boss to tell his wife that her makeup was messed up (because she was getting older and losing eyesight), they wanted to help her so she didn’t walk around looking like that, but feared for their husbands' jobs, so it ended up that no one told her. She made me promise to always check her own makeup before she left her apartment, so she didn’t look like that bosses wife. Those stories and our bond meant the world to me and something I’ll cherish forever.
