Lawrence James Coyne Jr's Obituary
Lawrence James Coyne, Jr., age 53, passed away unexpectedly on December 14, 2023. Beloved husband to Annette Coyne (nee Myers) for 16 years. Son of the late Colonel Lawrence James Coyne, Sr., and Lydia Coyne. Dear brother to Lisa Boeckx. Son-in-law to Betty Myers (his #1 mother-in-law). Brother-in-law to Lisa Blatnik (Robert) and Pam Normant (Pat). Loving uncle to Emily and J.J. Boeckx, Paige and Brooke Blatnik, Tyler, Morgan, and Jared Normant.
Larry retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Army after 25 years of service. He deployed to Iraq as a Civil Affairs Officer, after being commissioned as an Armor Officer in 1995. Larry was a loyal member of the Strongsville Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 3345. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at 1:00pm in the Strongsville VFW Post 3345, located at 17900 Strongsville Blvd, Strongsville, OH, 44149.
