Dear Maureen, Amanda, and Jerod. Please accept my sincerest and heartfelt condolences over the loss of John. He will be missed.
I had the pleasure of working with John for some 15 years, and he clearly left his mark on me personally, as well as all those whom he had contact. He and Rich Dickinson, and Nancy Pudelsky became part of the "dream team", forming the basis of the Eastern Region Sales team out of the Cleveland office. John was always proud to mention that he founded the "Strongsville office!"
It was very clear to me that our success was partly based on his vast experience in the business, and the customer relationships that he had formed over many years. Our customers, appreciated John's professionalism in all aspects of his dealings with them. These relationships were precious to John and our our customers treasured them. John in no small part helped define the business model that made our group so successful over many decades.
Last, John was a key figure in our annual golf outings with customers. He worked tirelessly on the details that contributed to an event that became so special to our sales group. He loved seeing people enjoy themselves, while representing the company with the highest professional standards.
John was not just a colleague, he became a trusted advisor, and more importantly a friend.
I will miss him, and every time I think of him, I will smile.
Again, my deepest sympathies.
