It’s hard to find the words. Our dad passed away this morning. Such an incredible father, husband, grandfather (Pop Pop), brother, brother in law, uncle and son so strong and loving. We were all blessed for the 88 years he had on this earth. He was our biggest cheer leader and patriarch of our family. He served God, his country (Navy veteran) and his family. He adored his wife, kids, daughter in law, son in law and grandchildren and treated friends like family. He was my biggest cheerleader and helped me with any and all ideas I had to help Bella (crawling track etc) he was in it with you always. Our dad was up for the fun but there for the tears too and he always had the best advice and best hugs. He taught me to trust my instincts and follow that still small voice. He loved God and was a man of faith. He adored Ireland and all things Irish he loved to sing and sang at our wedding!! His career in Human Resources was a perfect fit and often he helped family and friends with resumes interviewing tips and career advice. He was truly interested in each person he met and even wrote a book about it long before social media check it out on Amazon title is Netliving!! He touched so many lives even in his final hours. The blessings came in his words “I love you, I’ve always loved you, I will always love you” in the final weeks. He had a special connection with each grandchild and babies loved to snuggle in for a nap on Pop Pop. He loved nature and animals and somehow talked my mom into a trailer at Pymatuming Lake for all of us to enjoy growing up bonfires boat rides fishing swimming etc. so many happy memories. We traveled growing up and my parents went all over the world. My mom said it best if we could hear him he would tell us “I had a great run”. So in honor of him throw on some Irish music wear your green and enjoy your holiday enjoy the good times hold on to each other in the rough times but always live life to the fullest and remember always you are loved, you have always been loved and you will always be loved!! God bless!! I love you so much dad Mary Kay Deal
