It was such a pleasure to be Jessie's teacher. She was always so happy and a friend to everyone. My favorite memory of Jessie was at Graduation. With the name Wilson, she just happened to be the last student to receive her diploma. After taking her diploma and shaking hands with the principal, she turned around to the audience. A cheer went up through the crowd. That beautiful smile lit up her face. She gave a wave and walked back to her seat. She gave me a hug and told me how happy she was. It brought tears to my eyes.
