So very sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. I met him way back at St Albert the Great school. He was in the very first graduating class! I remember Jerry as always happy, smiling, and so kind to everyone. Sending condolences to Sue and family. Rest in peace Jerry ❤️🙏🏼💔
Many, many years of fond memories! Rest in peace, Jerry. With deepest sympathy, from your Pierre's Ice Cream family. You are missed.
I have such fond memories of Mr. Galaska. Jason, one of my best friends, definitely inherited his unforgettable, booming laugh from his dad. One of my favorite memories was a road trip we took to watch Jeff play at Duke against North Carolina. As we drove through West Virginia, Mr. Galaska shared with us that Jerry West, also known as "Zeke from Cabin Creek," hailed from there. That story stuck with me, and now every time my family and I head to the beach, I share that memory and remind them about Zeke from Cabin Creek.
Mr. Galaska's laughter was absolutely contagious, and his boundless energy made him so endearing. My heartfelt prayers are with his family during this time. May his soul rest in peace. Thank you, Mr. Galaska, for always bringing such incredible energy to those around you.
Jerry was my cousin and we would only see each other at funerals and he would always say to me Lori it's your long lost cousin Jerry. He will be missed
Mr Galaska was one of the kindest. I grew up in highschool with Jeff and Jason. Mr Galaska always was smiling and interested in you as a person, how your season was going, and as we grew up how the family was doing. we were fortunate to see him cheering on his grandkids in OF. You will be missed
