Thankfully, she lived a long full blessed life and with that many of the people that she called friends and family passed on before her. If all those that were blessed to know her and touched by her kindness, generosity and humor were able to write a memory on this site, it would fill pages and pages on this memory post.
For those of us who are left here on earth missing her, we rejoice in knowing she has gone home to heaven and there she is reunited with her devoted, loving husband Pancho. The posts and memories shared of her life lived here on this earth, would tell of stories of how she made you feel welcome and somehow always interesting even if what or how you felt was far from it.
She knew the simple pleasures that a good meal could bring when gathered with others. She enjoyed just the beauty of company and visiting with family, friends and new acquaintances. She was always up for a game, any game: puzzles, riddles, card games, dominoes and yes, even video games. She liked to include others, inviting all to play as she knew that fun and joy is part of a life well lived.
She was kind, yet fierce in spirit and championed for those who were underserved and marginalized. She lived a life guided by faith and up until her passing wanted to know how she could share with others, the beauty and love she knew was only found in Dios.
What she wanted for all of us as she repeated endlessly in the last days before she passed on, was a life of peace, love and joy. We know she brought much love and joy to our lives and has now found eternal peace with Dios. Always loved, never forgotten - Esther Mercedes, Mami, Abuela 💞
