Eric Kent Hankins, 49, passed away October 31, 2020. Loving husband of 21 years to Michele Hankins and loving father of Alexandria Kay Hankins and Dominic Kent Hankins. Son of Donavin Kent Hankins (Nancy) and the late Nancy Joy Lunsford (nee Kay). Son-in-law of Ralph E. and the late Clelia Gilbert and Brother-in law of Richard and Deanna Gilbert. Brother of Doreen McDonald and Former Brother-in-law of Rob McKee. Uncle of Keegan Gilbert, Taryn Gilbert, Robert Gilbert, Jennifer Gilbert, Stephanie Amnott, Caitlin McKee, Casey McKee, and Trevor McKee. Eric loved sports, especially the Cleveland Browns. There was hardly a time when you didn’t see him with some form of Cleveland Browns memorabilia. He loved the outdoors, camping, and large dogs – hence the license plate, LRGDOGS on his trucks. There was never a winter that he didn’t take his kids ice skating or a summer he didn’t take them swimming in a lake or ocean. He was a loving husband and father and a hard worker who was willing to help anyone who needed it. Due to COVID-19, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
