Donald C. Dillen Sr.'s Obituary
Donald C. Dillen, Sr. of Strongsville, passed away on Tuesday, July 22nd. Born October 23, 1938, he is survived by a loving wife, siblings, children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. An Army veteran, seasoned salesman, and known simply as “Papa” to many, he greatly enjoyed a sunny summer day of fishing, cruising with his grandkids on the golf cart, and enjoying a giant slice of Key Lime pie after his seafood dinner. In our cold Cleveland months, he loved to tinker in his woodshop, solve jigsaw puzzles, and incessantly tease his family. He will be sorely missed for his humor, orneriness, and willingness to share a good tale with anyone and everyone. Private services are being arranged by Jardine Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Services of Southwest General 18659 Drake Road, Strongsville, OH 44136. www.jardinefh.com
