My Father worked with Dave at the HPM and the two formed their own mutual admiration society. Forest (Smokey) Conklin was a good judge of people and had Dave pegged as a genius as a hydraulic engineer. I heard many Dave-stories at the supper table. Later Dave & Vivian maintained their friendship with my Mother right up until the end. No doubt, God is in need of a great engineer.
