Carol A Ziernicki's Obituary
Carol A. Ziernicki (nee BODROCK), 61, Strongsville, OH passed away on Sept 3, 2015 at home surrounded by family and loved ones, from neuroendocrine cancer. Carol was a warrior fighting cancer for 9 yrs 7 mths and multiple sclerosis for 20 yrs. Carol was blessed with many classmate friends from St. Thomas More School and Brooklyn High School as well as colleagues from her career as a cosmetology instructor at Polaris Career Center. Carol was a member of the Fantastic Femmes Red Hat Society, the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Ohio Buckeye Neuroendocrine Cancer Support Group. She was a volunteer Eucharistic minister to the homebound, PSR teacher and enjoyed crafting, gardening and rarely drove by an estate sale without stopping. Carol is survived by her husband Greg and sons Zachary and Jonathan; brother David Bodrock, sisters Christine Raymond and husband Del and sister MaryAnn Sullivan and husband Tim; in addition to many nieces, nephews and friends. Carol was preceded in death by daughter Kelly Lynn, mother Mary (Maxine) Bodrock and father Karl Bodrock. Memorial Mass SEPT 12 SATURDAY 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, 12700 Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH. Interment Private. No flowers please.
