Alistair J. Ross' Obituary
Alistair J. Ross, 87, passed away September 3, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Anna. Brother of the late Mysie Ross and uncle of Rosie Smith, both of the UK.
Alistair was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, attended George Heriot’s School and served in the British Army. He immigrated to Canada and then to the U.S. where he worked as a chemist at American Cyanamid for 11 years. He joined Glidden in Strongsville in 1972 as a chemist focusing on resin development and later achieved the position as a scientist .
A memorial will be held on Wednesday, September 16 from 3-5pm at Shurmer Place, 18627 Shurmer Road, Strongsville.
