William C. Madsen age 78 passed away peacefully at home Sunday May 26, 2024 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved husband of Cheryl-Ann for 56 years. Loving father of Diane ( Dr. Gregory) Beten, Deborah (Andrew ) Harding. Brother of Arthur (Heidi) and Christian (Mary Lou). Dear Grandfather of Abigail, Andrew and William. US Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. Bill grew up in the Collinwood neighborhood and attended St. Jerome’s grade school. His family moved to Maple Heights where Bill attended Chanel High and then obtained his bachelors degree from Cleveland State in June 1968. He pursued a 30 year career as a production manager for Ford Motor Castings Division. After formerly retiring in 2005, he traveled with his family and completed projects at home.
