So sorry to hear of Mr. Joyce's passing he was a good friend of my mother's, Alma Souder. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
He gave me a book of poetry at the end of the school year (1961) because I liked it so much. My daughter now reads those poems to my Granddaughter in Phillip Island Australia. A wonderful teacher and one of my best childhood role models. Rest Well.
He taught me how to drive. ..I scared him a few times. Lol...he's a wonderful, sweet,caring man. I'm proud to have known him! Huggys
I have very fond memories of Mr Joyce. He taught 6th grade and I wanted him as my teacher, but put in Mr Thomas class. Everyone loved him, he was the best teacher. May you now rest rest in peace Mr Joyce.
