Vincent Guy Moser's Obituary
Vincent Moser, 23, of Strongsville, died on November 3, 2018. Vinny was born on May 22, 1995 as the son of Dobie and Lisa Moser. Vinny is survived by his four sisters, Maria (Ryan, Chicago); Joanie (Cincinnati); Kathleen and Natalie and two brothers Anthony (Kate, Chicago), and Kevin.
Vinny brought much love and talent into his family and into the world through his music, his computer skills, his special place in his family, his desire to help others in need, and his sense of humor. He was especially close with his family, whom he visited with frequently and spoke to daily.
Vinny was a proud member of the Strongsville Youth Commission (SYC) where he loved serving others and being a leader in the community. Vinny graduated from Strongsville High School in 2014 and served on the production crew for various events in high school. He produced music under the name Vmo, and was very gifted at creating electronic music. He also had a cat, Primo, that he loved.
Vinny suffered from serious mental illness and made many efforts to overcome the challenges related to his condition. He was proud to participate in research studies in residence at the National Institute of Health and locally with University Hospitals. He hoped that through research studies that the suffering of others with serious mental illness would be less than his own. His family is grateful for the caring efforts of so many in the mental health care community who worked with Vinny and our family to show him their kindness and caring. We are forever grateful and hopeful that more research will lessen the suffering of others.
Visitation will take place at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, OH on Friday, Nov. 9, from 6:00 p.m.– 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., before the mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m.
