I loved having afterschool duty at Garinger with Timm. He always spewed random facts or awful dad jokes to make you smile after what was oftentimes a long and sometimes rough day. He loved his students fiercely and will be greatly missed.
Lots of great memories at The G and beyond! We taught math and had a great time in the 300 building (pics below). There was even a Dave Matthews concert in there. I thoroughly enjoyed our jokes about teaching, common rants about politics, our affinity for orange cats, and just life. I learned a lot from him about math, teaching, being a good person, and just laughing through the tough times. I’m very glad we got to visit in Ohio. Lots of love to you and the family. Being Timm’s friend was a great honor and I am a better person because of it!!
Lisa and I send condolences to Emily and the entire family. It was a privilege for both of us to say that we taught with Fiji, as well as being able to call him our friend. I always enjoyed when he would come down to our office at school and solve the world’s problems. He was the smartest person I ever knew!!!! Bless you Fiji, what an impact you made on hundreds and hundreds of people. Rest in Peace our dear friend!!!’
