Timothy Hilfer's Obituary
Timothy Hilfer passed away July 2nd, 2026. He will be remembered with deep affection by all who knew him. He lived a life marked by devotion to family, loyalty to friends, and a steady presence that brought warmth and strength to those around him.
He was a loving father to Frank Hilfer and a proud grandfather to Killian Hilfer. Timothy took great joy in his family and found meaning in the relationships he built across generations. His love for his family was evident in the care he gave, the encouragement he offered, and the genuine happiness he felt in their accomplishments and company. He treasured the role of father and grandfather, and those closest to him will long remember the steadfast devotion with which he embraced both.
Timothy was also a beloved uncle to Tom and Faith Stuckey and Amy Meyer. He held a special place in the lives of his niece and nephew, offering support, humor, and the kind of dependable presence that family members come to rely upon. He was a brother to Beverly Stuckey, who preceded him in death, and to Frank Hilfer, who also preceded him in death. The bonds of family were important to Timothy throughout his life, and he carried those connections with him always.
Among the many things that brought Timothy happiness was his involvement with the competition Super Squad in the Marines, where he shared in the spirit of teamwork, camaraderie, and competition. He enjoyed being part of a group that reflected his energy and enthusiasm, and he valued the friendships and memories formed through that experience.
Timothy was also a horse owner at Thistledown, a role that reflected another important part of his life. He appreciated the dedication and commitment that such an interest required, and it added another dimension to a life already rich with relationships and experiences.
Above all, Timothy Hilfer will be remembered as a great friend. He had a way of making others feel valued and respected, and his friendship was one that could be counted on in times of joy and in times of need. His kindness, loyalty, and easy companionship left a lasting impression on many lives. He had a great sense of humor and was all about jokes and laughs. He was the kind of person whose presence made a difference, and his absence will be deeply felt.
