Thomas " Tom" Jeresko's Obituary
Thomas “Tom” Jeresko, 85, passed away on December 12, 2023.
He was born on October 31, 1938, to the late Frank and Anna (nee Mikula) Jeresko in Lamberton, Pennsylvania.
Tom graduated from West Tech High School in Cleveland. He then worked for The Illuminating Company/ First Energy as a lineman and dispatcher for over 25 years.
He married Sandy Kevesdy on October 28. 1977 in Lakewood, Ohio. They have been married for 46 years.
Tom was a family man who was always there when they needed him. He had a great sense of humor and indulged in politics. Tom enjoyed being outdoors fishing and camping. He had a passion for almost all kinds of music and would often sing and dance along. Tom was a devoted Catholic and was a member of St. John Neumann for about 16 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Holly Jeresko, and Christopher (Erica) Jeresko; and grandchild Alexander Jeresko.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Andy, John, Frank “Cy”, Larry, Elsie, Jane, and Bill.
VISITATION will be held on TUESDAY, December 19th from 10am – 11am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 16271 Pearl Road, Strongsville. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will begin promptly at 11am. Interment will take place at Hope Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kemper House, St. John Neumann Catholic Church, or Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church.
