Tom
My Father Thomas Sr. was a WWII Veteran who served in the Pacific from 1944 to 1946. My Father also received numerous Medals of Honor which I have. My Father was married to my Mother Eleanor for 68 Years, and they had five children. Thomas and Eleanor moved to Strongsville in 1959. Thomas had numerous business ventures over the course of years. He was President of Greco Cement Contracting Co. President of Greco Homes. Owed the Texaco Station in Strongsville, Owned Mr. G’s Men’s Fashion Store in Strongsville. Owed numerous properties in Strongsville, Columbia Station and Florida.
When I read what was listed by nephew Nick Dominic's son, I was shocked. This is because he knew nothing about my father.
1. Thomas Sr. kept Dominic from being drafted and going to Vietnam.
2. It was on or about 1969 when Dominic wanted to get married to Sandra Bly. Thomas Sr. paid for everything.
3. It was Thomas Sr. who made the rent payments for Dominic when married and rented about our Grandparents’ home.
4. Thomas Sr. got Dominic numerous jobs working for the City of Strongsville, Texaco Station, Frito Lays, Fabrizi Construction and other companies.
5. Thomas Sr. bought Dominic numerous cars i.e.: 1955 Chevy and many others.
6. Thomas Sr. helped Dominic get his High School Diploma.
7. Dominic wanted a home; Dominic rented a home on Pearl Road in Strongsville that was going to be demolished. Thomas Sr. had that home moved to a lot on Fetzer in Strongsville next to the Bly’s home. Thomas Sr. paid numerous costs to construct the home. I have the checkbooks.
So, the next time learn the facts before you write that my Father was a mean hateful person. My Mother and Father were the best parents ever. There is a lot more to the story.
