Theresa Ann Contreras' Obituary
Theresa A. Contreras, 79, passed away at her home in Strongsville, Ohio on December 22, 2022 surrounded by family.
Theresa was born on April 27, 1943, in the Cleveland/Lakewood area, only child of the late William & Agnes Flaherty. She was also raised by her grandmother, aunts, and uncles until she married. She was a beloved wife to the late Manuel G. Contreras for over 35 years.
Theresa worked for Meier Transmission in Cleveland for 33 years and then at Shurmer Place Assisted Living in Strongsville for 5 years.
In 1967, Theresa & her husband built their home in Strongsville, Ohio, where they raised their five children. Theresa was the loving mother to Lisa (George) Kern, Tony Contreras (Ron Evans), Mary Monica (Jeff) Rogerson, Celia (Ken) Hardon, and Joseph (Samantha) Contreras.
Theresa was a loving grandmother to Michael (Rachel), Adam (Jamie), Matthew, Justin (Kathryn), Nicholas, Cody, Austin, Alexander, Madelyn (Cory), Quin (deceased), Kelsie, Noah, Gabriel, Audrina, Gianna, Mia, and Dominic.
Theresa was also a loving great-grandmother to Tyler (Paige), Kayla, Juliana, Bella, Lillian, Helen, Liam, Elizabeth, AJ, Colton, Milena, Garrett, Paisley, Penelope, Sierra, Daniel, Oakleigh, and was expecting her first great-great grandson.
VISITATION will be held on Wednesday, December 28th, 2022 from 3pm-8pm at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be on THURSDAY, December 29th at 10am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12700 Pearl Road, Strongsville. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
