She was my 7th grade history teacher , her class was my first A in school she made me feel that I COULD accomplish anything I put my mind to ... she encouraged me to run for student council and really get involved !! I loved her not only as my teacher but as my friend .

Susan was just beginning her journey with us in Alpha Delta Kappa International Honorary. Because of her commitment to excellence in education we chose Susan to be a part of our chapter. Susan was a cheerleader at a young age while a student at Lakewood High School. That enthusiasm and support of others overflowed into the lives of all she touched. As a devoted wife to Wayne and Mom to Hayley, Susan infused her marriage and parenting with fierce love and commitment. As a teacher to thousands of students, Susan inspired and motivated her classes with fierce passion. As a Caliber Dance Mom, Susan instilled each dancer with fierce encouragement making them a part of the Caliber family. As a colleague, Susan led with a fierce work ethic. As my friend, Susan provided a fierce devotion filling our relationship with positivity, understanding, compassion, and love. She remains the eternal cheerleader for all of us who have been touched by her sunny disposition and quick smile. The world is dimmer without Susan in it, but if we all collectively give a fraction of what she gave to all who knew her, we can not only honor her, but also make the world a better place. I miss you, my dearest friend. I know you are leading a cheer to help all of us deal with this void left with your parting. Silent memories will keep you near. I love you.
I taught with Sue for 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent together. I admired her dedication to her teaching and her, kindness, concern and love for her daughter.
