Steve Zoltan Korom's Obituary
Steve Zoltan Korom, age 90, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026. He was born in Budapest, Hungary, to loving parents Stevan and Elizabeth Korom (née Gruber).
Steve was married to Shirley Korom (née Rodeheaver), where they shared 28 long years together.
Beloved father of Steven Korom (Kim), Anissa Pauer (Tim), Michael Lohr (Goldie), Michele Chambers (Gary), and Eric Lohr (Anna). Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather to a host of grandchildren. He touched the hearts of every friend, family member, and acquaintance he met.
Preceded in death by Margaret Korom, the cherished mother of Steven and Anissa. Gone too early but never forgotten in our hearts
Steve served proudly in the United States Navy for four years, then, among other careers, managed local grocery stores with finally settling on working as a realtor and developer and a sought-after real estate appraiser for many decades.
His dedication to what he loved showed through everything he did throughout his life, including traveling often with family and enjoying adventures with the family pets.

All services will take place on Tuesday, April 28. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., immediately followed by a service of remembrance. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
