Stephen J. Ziegler's Obituary
Stephen J. Ziegler age 66, passed away March 22, 2021. Beloved husband of 37 years to Monica “Christi” Ziegler (nee Mezzulo). Loving father of Keith (Laurie) Geiger and Karli (Cory) McMahan. Brother of Carol (Wayne) White, Gary (Sue) Ziegler, Joanne (Mike) Shimensky and Frank (Jill) Ziegler. Cherished grandfather of Brody, Kaden, Leia, Dylan, Landon, and Logan. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Gwendolyn Ziegler. After graduating high school Steve served in the United States Air Force where he was able to enjoy his passion for air traffic control. He loved to dance and enjoyed spending time with all his family and friends. Steve also enjoyed his long career at Georgia Pacific in S.C. He will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at Strongsville United Methodist Church, 13500 Royalton Road Strongsville, OH 44136 Monday March 29, 2021 from 10-11:30AM where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11:30AM. Interment Strongsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Avenue Cleveland, OH 44110 or the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center 9500 Euclid Avenue Cleveland, OH 44195.
