Stella M. Roberts' Obituary
Stella Minerva Roberts (nee Eppley), 92, fell asleep in death at Lennox Ridge of North Olmsted on Thursday, July 4th after long illness. Born in Holsopple, Pennsylvania in 1927, Stella moved to Cleveland with her husband Elton in 1953 and was a longtime resident of Olmsted Falls. Later in her life she was a resident of the Elyria Retirement Community. Stella worked as a seamstress for Joseph and Feiss and later became a clerk at May Company in North Olmsted. She loved to garden, for which she was well known in her community, as well as assemble puzzles, bake, fish, camp, watch Indians and Browns games and spend time with her family. She is survived by her son, Wayne (Nancy) of Columbia Station; grandchildren, Will (Yvonne) of Elyria and Fred (Courtney) of Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Timothy, Jonathan and Lydia; sister-in-law, Delores Strickler, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Mary; her husband of 50 years, Elton; sisters, Fern, Helen, and Betty and brother Homer.
Visitation will take place Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville, with a memorial service immediately following at 4 p.m., officiated by her grandchildren
