Stanley Brice Ebin's Obituary
Stanley Brice Ebin of Strongsville, Ohio, age 90, passed away Tuesday July 20, 2021. Stan was born November 13, 1930 in Canton, Ohio to Albin and Theresa (Motter) Ebin. He attended Timken High School, then earned a degree from University of Detroit in Architectural Engineering. Stan joined the Army serving in Japan and Korea during the Korean Conflict. Afterwards he met the love of his life, Midge, they married and quickly started their family. He then attended The Ohio State University for a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering. Throughout Stan’s life he had many interests: playing the trumpet, barbershop singing, watercolor painting, MGA enthusiast, 78 record collecting, listening to old Jazz, and especially telling corny jokes! He cherished family most in life. Beloved husband of 62 years to Mildred (Midge) Ebin (nee Lyons); Loving father of: Elizabeth (Perry) Starcovic, Theresa (Perry) Patterson, Claudia Milano, Paula (Duane) Siewert, and Daniel (Wendy King) Ebin; Brother of: Sr. Margaret Ebin, HM ,Jeanne (Fred) Rife, Susan (Leo) Herman and the late Daniel Ebin; Grandfather of: Philip (Susan) Starcovic, Bradley (Madeline Heinlein) Starcovic, Monica (Chris) Cunningham, Patrick (Cara) Starcovic, Rosemary (Alex) Burns, Ken Patterson, Kathryn Patterson, Daniel Dean (Itzel) Patterson, David Patterson, Lily Patterson, Amber Milano, Michael Milano, Drew Siewert, Julie Siewert: Great grandfather of: Everett, Keegan, Quinn, Bruce, and Reagan. Visitation will be held at Jardine Funeral Home 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH 44136 Sunday July 25, 2021 from 1-5PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church 12700 Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH 44136 Monday July 26, 2021, at 12PM. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville OH Tuesday July 27, 2021, at 12:30PM. Please meet at the cemetery.
