Shawn Edward Remington of Strongsville, OH, 60, passed away February 25, 2025. Beloved husband of 26 years to the late Janice Remington (Timko). Loving father of Kaylee Remington (fiancé Christopher Sanders), Erin Lipnicki (Kyle) and Zachary Remington (Will Echezuria). Shawn was born in Cleveland, OH and was the son of Dave and Peggy Remington and son-in-law of Thomas Timko and the late Cathy Timko. Adored brother of Shellie Rose (David), Chris Remington (Tami), Brett Remington (Tina) and Jason Remington (Barb) and brother-in-law of Lorri Metzger (Bob) and Tom Timko (Jody). Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Shawn is preceded in death by his faithful dog companion, Jovi.
Shawn was an amazing father who always put his children first. He loved spending time with his family and friends, where you would catch him talking about his many interests including music, history and Cleveland sports. He loved spending his weekends at his camper in Marblehead. Shawn will be remembered for his fearless fight against cancer, but mostly, for his humor, generosity and kind heart.
VISITATION SUNDAY, MARCH 2, 2025 from 12PM-4PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. A Funeral Service will be held on MONDAY, March 3, 2025 at 11AM at Jardine’s. Interment will immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City.
