Sharon Genco's Obituary
Sharon Genco (nee Berdis) age 59, passed away November 20, 2021. Beloved wife of 36 years to Michael Genco. Loving mother of Nicole (Matthew) Moser, Philip (Rachael Dmytriw) Genco, Brian Genco, and Alyssa Genco. Devoted daughter of Joseph and Dorothy Berdis (nee Malinak). Sister of Joseph (Heidi Friedberg) Berdis, Catherine Berdis, and Dorothy (Ronald) Bierut. Cherished grandmother of Madelyn Sharon Moser. Sharon remained a courageous and strong woman during her 8.5-year battle with cancer. She was a devoted Catholic and retired after 33 years as a registered nurse for Southwest General Health Center. Sharon was very dedicated to patient care and was respected and loved by all her patients. Many past patients continued to stay in touch with her after their care. Family was everything to her and she always put them before herself. She will be missed dearly by all those who knew her. Visitation will be held at Jardine Funeral Home 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH 44136, Friday November 26, 2021, from 3-7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 16271 Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH 44136, Saturday November 27, 2021, at 11AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380.
