Sandra "Sandy" G. Kovach's Obituary
Sandra “Sandy” G. Kovach, 80, passed away on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 at Southwest General Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born on October 18th, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was raised by the late Edward and Doris Hurr.
Sandy married Joseph Kovach on October 17th, 1964. They have been married for 58 years.
She enjoyed doing various activities including gambling, bowling, golf, and card games. She loved to travel with her family and seeing new places. Family was very important to her.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband Joseph Kovach; children Deborah (Richard) Miller, and Joseph (Janet) Kovach; siblings Abbie (Charles) Speck, and Debbie Brown; grandchildren Matthew Miller, Kaitlyn (Vick) Kolli, Alyson Kovach, Alexis Kovach, and Lauren Kovach.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Jim and Mark Hurr.
VISITATION will be held on SATURDAY, December 3rd, 2022 from 10am- 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12700 Pearl Road, Strongsville. FUNERAL MASS will also be held on SATURDAY beginning at 11am. Burial will immediately follow at Strongsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The City Mission of Cleveland or The Salvation Army.
