Ruth L. Taylor (nee Hilliker) 89 passed away peacefully March 17, 2013, surrounded by her family. She is now reunited with George, her husband and partner of 62 years. The dear sister of Anne Nageotte and the late Richard, she was the loving mother of Jack(Amy), Lawrence(Theresa), Phyllis Omiecinski(Gregory), Elizabeth Warner(Ed), , and the late Duncan. She was the proud grandmother of Tricia, Suzie, Greg, Patrick, Matthew, Chaz, Zachary and the late Brian; the thrilled great grandmother of 4 and soon-to-arrive baby Warner; and the loving aunt to many. Mom was a lifelong learner, starting her nursing career in her 50’s, and completing her BSN at age 62. After her retirement, she became accomplished in the craft of traditional rug hooking, and was a frequent guest artisen for the Strongsville Historical Society. She took up painting in her 80’s, attending classes and seminars in water color.
