Rudy Hodges' Obituary
Rudy Leslie Hodges, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2024, in Brunswick,
Ohio, at the age of 78. Born on June 9, 1945, in Savannah, Georgia, to the
late Rufus and Keturah Hodges.
Rudy is survived by his loving children, Matt and Tony Hodges, who
remember their father as a guiding light and a source of strength. His siblings,
Teresa, Joanna, Welda, Becky, and Suzanne, will fondly recall the countless
memories they shared. Rudy's joy was multiplied by his adoring
grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Josh, Nathan, Emily, Megan, and Grace, and
his great-grandson, Giovanni, all of whom he loved deeply.
A proud veteran, Rudy served his country with honor and distinction. His
commitment to service was a testament to his character and his love for his
nation. After his military career, Rudy found solace and joy on the golf course,
where he spent many happy hours perfecting his swing and enjoying the
camaraderie of fellow golfers.
Rudy was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Cyndy Hodges,
who was the love of his life and with whom he shared an unbreakable bond.
Together, they built a legacy of love, kindness, and generosity.
Services will be private for the family.
