Rosemarie T. Reid's Obituary
Rosemarie T. Reid (nee Grasson), born May 27, 1933, passed away suddenly January 2, 2015. Loving wife to Donald R. Reid for over 60 years. Mother to Kathleen Tomick, (Paul), Donald R. Jr. (Tina), Diane Scully, Sharon Filibeck (Don), Linda Kehl (Bob), Jackie Moore (Scott) and Mary Fisco (Alfonso). Loving Grandmother of 17 and Great grandmother of two. Sister of Betty Radis, Ruth Slocum and Lillian Gross. Grandmother of Stephen, Jonathan, David (Nicki), Jackie (Lee), Carrie, Ryan, Brett, Katie, Chris, Nick, Jessica, Jacob, Julie, Ian, Austin, Marissa (Nick), and Alex. Great grandmother of Isaac and Kourtney. Rosemarie was a selfless, loving person, with a big heart; volunteering at her church, cooking meals for St. Malachi, taking communion to the sick. She also worked over 25 years for the Berea school system and spent many years as a winter resident of The Villages in Florida. Together with her husband Don, Rosemarie raised an amazing family of seven. As the family grew, so did the amount of family time together – all the pumpkin parties; pool parties; Fourth of July parades; so many Thanksgivings; and, most importantly, the Christmas day gathering, where for over 45 years her family would gather together to celebrate. Rosemarie cherished her grandchildren, and she attended every sporting event, first communion, confirmation, and graduation that she possibly could. Rosemarie was a model of a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She leaves a legacy of kindness and faith, and she will be dearly missed by all.
