Ronald Allan Sarbach's Obituary
Ronald Allan Sarbach age 80, passed away August 8, 2021. Beloved father of Mark Sarbach (Holly Palmer). Brother of the late Linda (Donald) Stroud. Son of the late Howard and Lilyan Sarbach. Cherished grandfather of Gavin, Sarbach, Ava Sarbach and Kayla Sarbach. Uncle of Jennifer Stroud (Keye Daus), Barbara Meyer, and Doug Stroud. Great uncle of Amelia Klump, Isabelle Klump, Scarlett Stroud, Sam Meyer, Maxwell Meyer, and Vincent Stroud. Ron was born on the 14th of July in 1941 to Howard and Lilyan Sarbach in Cleveland, Ohio. He and his family moved to Painesville, Ohio when he was 5 where he grew up and graduated from Riverside High School. He went off to Case Institute of Technology in 1959 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1964. Ron worked for Denison Hydraulics, which eventually became Parker Hanafin, for 38 years – retiring in 2006. He moved back to Cleveland in 2013 where he enjoyed going to lunch with old friends, building all manner of model railroad elements from engines, cars, and buildings on a large layout, actively participating in regional and national model train events and visiting with family. He was a loving and kind friend, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed. NO FLOWERS PLEASE. In lieu of flowers, please make a remembrance donation to the Nickel Plate Road Historical & Technical Society. Visitation will be held at Jardine Funeral Home 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH 44136 August 25, 2021 from 4-7PM where a memorial service will immediately follow at 6PM.
