Roger Urban's Obituary
Roger Urban, a cherished husband, stepfather, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Fran, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage of 25 years. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, mutual respect, and unwavering support. He was a devoted stepfather to Timothy and his wife Amanda, Steve Breininger, and Chris Breininger, guiding them with a gentle hand and an open heart. His role as a grandfather to Michael Browne was one of his most treasured, as he imparted wisdom and joy in equal measure.
Born to a loving family, Roger was a brother to Michael and his wife Kathy. Roger's love extended to his four-legged friends, and his fondness for dogs was known to all who were close to him.
Roger's passions were as rich and varied as his relationships. A connoisseur of fine wine and seafood, he found great pleasure in the art of cooking, often sharing his culinary creations with family and friends. The beach was his sanctuary, a place where he could revel in the serenity of the waves and the warmth of the sun.
Known for his nonjudgmental nature and easygoing demeanor, Roger was a voice of reason to many. His professional life was marked by excellence and dedication; he loved his job and approached it with a sense of purpose that inspired those around him.
Roger's life was one well-lived, and his legacy will continue to be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In keeping with his wishes, all services will be private, allowing those who loved him to honor his memory in a manner befitting the quiet strength he embodied. Roger Urban's presence will be deeply missed, but the light he brought into this world will never fade.
