Robert W. Smith 88 passed away January 17, 2012. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Frymark) for 66 years. Father of Susan (Chuck) Laskin of Richfield, Tom (Linda) of Akron, Paula (Steve) Brewer of Aiken, SC and the late David. Son of the late Mabel and Andy Smith. Son-in-law of the late Lillian and Al Frymark. Brother of the late Don (Louise) Myers. Grandfather of Stephanie and Matthew Brewer, Michael and Andrew Smith and Mary Moon. WWII U.S. Army Combat Veteran, participated in Honor Flight 2009. Owner of Smith Jewelers at Berea Parkway Shops for 35 years, retired 1989. Family will receive friends 4-8PM FRIDAY at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. Funeral Service will be held 11AM SATURDAY at Strongsville United Methodist Church, 13500 Royalton Rd, Strongsville. Interment Strongsville Cemetery.
