Robert M. Stofko age 89, passed away February 7, 2022. Beloved husband of Alice (nee Angyal) of 65 years. Father of Roberta Tripodi (Bob), and Karen Kelling (Craig). Grandfather of Deana Perkins (Tom), Kevin Kucinski, Kyle Kelling (Lorrainna), Cory Kelling (Phi), and Jared Tripodi. Great-grandfather of Tristen, Brandon, Nathan, Alexis, McKenzie, and Quinton. Brother of Joseph Stofko. Uncle and great uncle to many. Robert served in the Korean War, 82nd airborne, MASH unit. He was a retired Lieutenant of the Cleveland fire department, member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Brunswick Eagles. Visitation will be held at Jardine Funeral Home 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH 44136, Thursday February 10, 2022, from 4-8PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Friday, February 11, 2022, at 10AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Northfield. Donations can be made in Robert’s memory to the Cleveland Firefighters Museum, 310 Carnegie Ave, Cleveland, OH 44115.
