Robert C. Sperber's Obituary
He was born on December 11, 1941, to the late Norris and Lillian (nee Craig) Sperber in Cleveland, Ohio.
Robert joined the United States Army in December of 1963, during the Vietnam War. Upon his return home, he married Frances Humphrey on May 7, 1966. They were married for 36 years before her passing in 2003.
He was an avid marksman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Everyone knew they could always count on Bob as he loved to be there and lend a hand. There was not a fur baby that he did not love, nor one that did not love him. Bob was a great friend to many, and he will be greatly missed.
Robert is survived by his daughter Kristy (Edmund) Schneider Jr.; siblings Jerrold (Faye- deceased) Sperber, and Faith (Clarence- deceased) Albert; step-grandchildren Lisa (Maximus) Boyle, Laura Cameron, and Megan (Victor) Martinez; great grandchildren Mia and Mason Boyle, and June and Benjamin Cameron; and a favorite uncle to Anthony Sperber, Daniel (Stephanie) Sperber, and Nathan Sperber.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife Frances Sperber.
VISITATION will be held on MONDAY, November 20th from 3pm – 7pm at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on TUESDAY, November 21st at 11am, also at Jardine Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Strongsville Cemetery.
