Robert A. Schauer (101), beloved husband of the late Dorothy Potting, passed away on June 2nd. Devoted father of April Hakaim (Dave), Sherry Dickerhoof (Von), and Thomas(deceased). Grandfather of David (Deceased), Hallie and Brian, and John and Jason Yuhas. GG Pa of David Delaney and Reilly. WWII veteran, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge. Bob is most proud of his service in the Army. He fought in the Battle of Bulge, was a Tank Destroyer and Unit Commander. He served as a Provost Marshal and has an endless stream of stories that he shared with his family and anyone else who cared to listen. He had a remarkable memory, right up until the end.
