Rick Thomas' Obituary
Rick Thomas, 68, passed away on January 13, 2025. Born on July 23, 1956, in Uniontown, PA, Rick's life was a testament to the love and laughter he brought into the lives of those around him.
Rick was the beloved husband of Judy Thomas (nee Wheller) for 27 wonderful years. His love story with Judy was one of mutual respect, deep affection, and countless shared memories that will be treasured forever. A devoted father, Rick's legacy lives on through his daughter, Samantha Levandusky (Nathan). The joy of his life was further multiplied by his grandchildren, Emily and Jonathan.
Predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Jacquelyn Thomas, and his brother Danny Thomas, Rick's memory will be honored by his surviving sister, Andrea "Sue" Wells (Rick).
Rick's professional life was marked by dedication and skill in his role as a machinist, a career that spanned many years until his retirement from DuPont. His colleagues knew him as a man of integrity and commitment, qualities that made him not only a reliable worker but a true friend to many.
Beyond his work, Rick was an ardent sports enthusiast with an unwavering loyalty to the Cleveland Browns. His passion for football was infectious, and many will remember the cheers and good-natured debates that sprang from his love of the game. Rick's enthusiasm extended beyond the screen, as he enjoyed sharing these moments with friends and family, creating a camaraderie that transcended the sport itself.
Rick's life was a beautiful mosaic of the roles he cherished—husband, father, grandfather, brother, colleague, and friend. His absence will be deeply felt, but the warmth of his smile and the echo of his laughter will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
