Blessings abound for those of us who knew Mr. Shirilla. We were not only lucky to have each other as friends, but we were loved by each others parents. Mr. Shirilla supported us all with love, kind words, and influence no matter what we were involved in. Many great times were had. I did not realize how affected I would be by his passing until I sat with my friends at the service and the flood of great memories filled the room. Tears of joy and loss...but blessings remain. Prayers to all the Shirillas...his legacy lasts forever!

It’s a sad day. Mr. Shirilla was a second father to many of us growing up. Many, many good memories! He let us run but was always there to give us a lesson or two, even if Mr. O’Malley failed to listen and on top of it turn the tables and blame it on Mr. Shirilla. Oh the memories, sleepovers, cigars at baseball games and most of all being the biggest supporter to all of us no matter what the sport or event. Truly a good husband, father and just all around person. He will be missed. Godspeed and prayers to all the Shirilla’s during this time.
