Richard N. Poorman, 53, of Nineveh, Indiana, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away August 12, 2016. Beloved husband of Marian Bayne Poorman. Cherished son of Frances and the late Norbert Poorman. Loving brother of Marylu Krolikowski (Richard), Anne Poorman Cotton (Eric) and the late James Poorman. Dear uncle of Sarah and Abigail Krolikowski. Treasured member of the Bayne family. Rick graduated from John Carroll University with a Masters Degree in Physics and worked as a physicist, engineer, instructor and independent contractor designing automatic controls. He enjoyed woodworking, home remodeling, water sports, skiing and snowmobiling. Rick was a man of many skills and a huge heart. He will be missed tremendously by family, friends and colleagues. VISITATION 4-8 PM THURSDAY at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL ROAD, STRONGSVILLE, OH. Funeral Mass 10 AM Friday at St. John Neumann Church, Strongsville. Interment 11am Saturday at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to foodforthepoor.org
