Richard Haborak Jr.'s Obituary
Richard Haborak Jr., passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025. He was a cherished soul, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him. Richard's legacy is one of love and dedication to his family.
Richard was the beloved husband of 44 years to Rita Haborak (nee Root). He was a loving father to Mark Haborak (Rachel) and Amy Haborak (Adam Labuda). Son of Annette Haborak and the late Richard A. Haborak Sr. Brother to Barb Vogel (Tom) and Scott Haborak (Diane). Beloved uncle and friend to many.
As a grandfather, Richard's joy was multiplied. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, Hannah and Leah Haborak, and Declan and Nora Labuda. His love for them was boundless, and his legacy will continue to flourish in their hearts and memories.
Throughout his life, Richard was a respected member of the Pipefitters Local 120, from which he retired after many years of dedicated service.
Richard's life was a journey of love, laughter, and resilience. He will be remembered for his generous spirit and his ability to bring joy to those around him. His memory will be treasured forever by those who were fortunate enough to have known him. Richard Haborak Jr. will be deeply missed, but his light will continue to shine in the lives of his family and friends.
VISITATION THURSDAY 3PM-7PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. A Funeral Service will be held FRIDAY 10AM at Jardine’s. Interment will be held immediately following the service at Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MetroHealth Medical Center Burn Unit, 2500 MetroHealth Drive, Cleveland OH 44109.
