Richard L. Esper's Obituary
Richard Esper, 83, passed away November 2, 2023. Beloved husband of 60 years to Linda Esper. Loving father of Amanda Warvell (Tom). Son of the late Mary and Frank Esper. Brother of Dennis Esper (Diane), David Esper and the late Dale Esper. Cherished Papa of Jaxon and Avery Warvell. Loving uncle, great uncle and nephew. Richard began his career in the late 1960’s at Art Gravure which was a subsidiary of The Cleveland Plain Dealer. He then went on to continue his career at The Cleveland Plain Dealer for over 30 years where he eventually retired. Richard was an avid fisherman and loved spending time on his boat. He was passionate about sports, especially baseball, and was a loyal Cleveland sports fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially treasuring all of the memories with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. VISITATION TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2023 from 3PM-7PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on WEDNESDAY, November 8, 2023 at 10AM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Strongsville. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will be private for the family.
