Lifelong resident of Greater Cleveland. Son of Cyril and Margaret (nee Hoffman) Edwards. Brother to twelve siblings. Surviving Richard are his siblings Jean Parker and Charles Edwards; and his life partner, Donald A. Piccirillo. Richard was a WWII Navy Veteran, a carpenter, and SEARS retiree. Private burial at All Souls Cemetery.
