I was saddened to hear Rich's passing. I worked with Rich in the late 70's and early 1980's at NASA. In fact, we even wrote a paper together. He was an excellent engineer and an outstanding individual. I always enjoyed working with him and appreciated his wise council. My deepest condolences to his family and close friends. He will surely be missed.

Deepest sympathies to Mary Ellen, Richie, Pat, and Lauren for the devastating loss of Rich. A wonderful loving and humble Man with a great sense of humor and gift of life. So many memories of family vacations together in Nags Head all in the same house. Christmas Eve dinners at Grandma Lotte's, Thanksgiving celebrations, playing cards, password, and singing songs. Rich will live on in our memory and hearts forever.
