Raymond Lee Haseley age 87, passed away September 27, 2020. Beloved husband of 17 years to Tamsin Jane Haseley; and 39 years to the late Nancy Lewis. Cherished stepfather of Belen (Michael) Poltorak, the late Bethanne Flamik, Robert Hoyt, Charles William (Emily) Hoyt, Pam (Michael) Shanahan, Tom (Moira) Domann, Michael (Jody) Domann, David (Lynn) Domann, Mark Domann. Loving grandfather of Miranda Poltorak, Melinda Poltorak, Margaret Poltorak, Brittany Flamik, Natalie Flamik, Stephanie Flamik, Maxwell Franck, Hunter (Catie) Hoyt, Samantha (Michael) Abdulkarim, Nicholas Hoyt, Hannah Hoyt, Hayden Hoyt, Jack Sickels, Laura (Sean) Premo, Kelsey Domann, Mackenzie Domann, Aileen Domann, Justin (Brady) Domann, Karen (Jamie) Belko, Matthew Rawley, Stacy Domann, Melissa (Ben) Madama, and David Domann Jr. Raymond served in the U.S. Navy and was the owner of Haseley Distributing. He was a committed public servant for over 20 years including 14 years on the City Council and served for 6 multiple years as Council President. In addition, he was Acting Mayor for 7.5 months. Raymond served on the board at Altenheim Senior Living and the Board of Epilepsy. He was a Chamber Trustee for 21 years and Chamber of Commerce President for 2 years. Raymond served as a chairman on the QCP Board of Directors for 3.5 years. He had positions on many council committees including, Chairman for Planning-Zoning-Engineering, Chairman for Public Service and Conservation, The Economic Development & Technology, Council Representative to Southwest General Hospital, and Council Representative to Planning Commission. Public Visitation will be held at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH 44136 Sunday October 4, 2020 from 1-6PM. Private funeral service will be held at Strongsville United Methodist Church, 13500 Royalton Road, Strongsville, OH 44136.
