It was a shock to finally check my email and learn of Ray's passing. Like his Dad, Ray had a great sense of humor. I remember the new Nash sedan; family trips out west,
16MM movies, and visits to Wendelville and Young family farms. While I was in USCG
on the Great Lakes, Ray was in the Navy Seabees amidst the turmoil of the Mideast.
Upon discharge I stayed in electrical wholesaling in Cleveland, while Ray joined AT&T
in Rochester area. We visited Ray & Carol in Brockport; and we moved to St Louis
area - Ray used AT&T perk and call regularily. after their move to Ohio & we exchanged updates on our offspring. Activities at Church, playing in Ohio NewHorizon band,
and family trips to Pennsylvania were the highlights. The Young family reunions back
in Grand Island & Lewiston area was our meeting place when we could make it.
