My thoughts on my friend Randy. We met when we were in 3rd grade. Our parents bought brand new houses on Middlebrook Blvd in Brook Park. We were 4 houses apart. We were inseparable, morning to night sports. We played football, baseball, basketball and countless hours playing in the woods we called paradise. Ben and Leona treated me like a son. We camped in Randys back yard by the railroad tracks. The trains would stop just before Snow road and we would trade hot dogs for railroad flares. Randy was in mine and Gretchen's wedding and I was in his. We left Northern Ohio in 1981 and lost contact. I truly regret not staying in contact. Out of the blue Randy called this summer and we vowed to get together here in Black Mountain NC. I will always remember the great times. Bud Eastridge
