Peter "Pete" G. Lebron's Obituary
Peter G. Lebron, age 58, known affectionately as Pete to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024. He was a cherished husband, stepfather, son, brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend whose vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
Pete is survived by his devoted wife of 21 years, Nancy (nee Carver), and his stepson, Joshua Carver. He was the proud son of Josette (Revil) and the late Robert Lebron, and a caring brother to Shirley Gowern (Tim), Rebecca Lebron, RJ Picciano (Ginger Bradny), Sandra Lebron, and the late Kimm Patchan (the late Reed). Brother-in-law to Randy Davis (Terry Gavalya).
Pete's legacy of kindness extended to his nieces and nephews, Josette Sandvik (Carl), Timmy Gowern (Kim), and Omar Lebron Siddiq (Jill). Great uncle to Anthony Gowern and Mark Morrison. His absence will be deeply felt by his family members and friends, who found in him a reliable confidant and a source of off beat humor.
An avid Browns fan, Pete's enthusiasm for his team was infectious, bringing together family and friends. He loved to cook, grill and smoke. His love for classical and rock music was a testament to his eclectic and vibrant personality, often sharing his favorite tunes with those around him. Pete's passion for reading opened up worlds of knowledge and strong opinions, which he shared through animated discussions. Pete’s favorite place to vacation from childhood to this past summer was Lake Chautauqua, where he enjoyed boating and water sports.
Pete's love for animals and nature was evident to all who knew him, particularly in his relationship with his cat, Niko. His commitment to his family was unparalleled, ensuring that their needs were met with love and dedication. As a proud Republican, Pete stood firm in his beliefs and values. His memory will continue to everyone who knew & loved him. As Pete often would say in a loud voice, Conyo!
Visitation for Pete will be held on Friday, December 6th, 2024, from 3 pm to 7 pm at Jardine Funeral Home 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH 44136. A Memorial Mass to celebrate his life will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church 12700 Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH 44136. Attendees are kindly asked to meet directly at the church.
